Approach

We empower health innovation through capital, expertise, and global reach

We invest primarily across Europe and North America, recognizing that healthcare technology innovation is occurring in many cities around the world.

We invest in Series A and Series B rounds of companies operating in BioTech and HealthTech with significant potential to improve human health.

Biotech

Companies developing novel biological approaches to disease: from drug discovery through to clinical-stage assets.

  • Novel technologies that alter treatment paradigms
  • Targeted and personalised medicines for better safety and efficacy
  • Preventative approaches for high-need patient populations

Healthtech

Companies applying technology to transform how care is delivered, monitored, and experienced.

  • Next-generation medical devices that change patient outcomes
  • Hybrid and digital care platforms improving patient engagement and access
  • Evidence-based, digitally-enabled treatments and diagnostics

What we look for in a company

We are patient-centric investors.
Every company we back must be able to answer how their solution changes outcomes for a defined patient population.
That is the non-negotiable starting point.
From there, we evaluate across several dimensions:

Science and technology

Is the underlying science differentiated? Does it address a genuine unmet need, or does it compete head-on in a crowded space? We look for first-in-class or best-in-class solutions with a credible path to clinical or commercial validation.

Team

We back founders and leadership teams with deep domain expertise, ideally combining scientific or clinical authority with commercial and operational capability. We want partners who are open to challenge, honest about risk, and determined in the face of it.

Market

We look for large or growing addressable markets where regulatory pathways are understood, reimbursement dynamics are favourable, and the clinical evidence bar is achievable. Healthcare is a regulated industry: we treat that as a feature, not a bug.

Pipeline and product

For Biotech: stage of development, mechanism of action, clinical data package, IP position.

For HealthTech: evidence of clinical utility, regulatory status, integration into care workflows, and evidence of commercial traction.
